ABOUT
The VTA is Victoria’s peak employer body for the public providers of TAFE in Victoria. The VTA holds an annual conference – the theme for 2015 was ‘Leading Transformational Change’.
The VTA has as members all of Victoria’s TAFE Institutes, four Victorian dual-sector Universities, and an Associate member, AMES. VTA engages its members in developing, supporting and advocating policies and practices that progress and sustain their interests.
VTA Research Gateway
The VTA is aware that many of its members are involved in research activities that support things such as internal policy development and strategic planning, responses to public policy issues, and the professional development of staff.
Often this research is carried out by staff new to research or those familiar with research but with limited time to search the extensive data bases that exist around vocational education.
The VTA has decided to create a Research Gateway that assists members and their staff to access more quickly and efficiently those state, national and international resources that are available when they need to find them.
