The 2025 Victorian TAFE Association International Women’s Day Lunch will be held at The Hotel Windsor, Melbourne, on Friday 7 March from 12 – 3pm.

The 2025 UN International Women’s Day theme is “March Forward: Turning Promises into Progress”, marking 30 years since the United Nations’ Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action for achieving gender equality.

Join us to celebrate the incredible impact of women, and to hear inspiring stories from those advancing gender equity by enhancing the social, health, and economic well-being of women.

This year’s event will feature three progressive women leaders who will share their perspectives on equality. The discussion will highlight how far we have come in turning promises into progress.

Our distinguished panel includes:

  • Natalie Egleton, CEO of the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal
  • Professor Sarah Russell, immunology researcher and leader of women in STEM research at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Swinburne University
  • Hannah Pennington, Sharing Our Expertise Project Coordinator with Women with Disabilities Victoria

We look forward to welcoming you to this year’s event.
