The Victorian TAFE Association (VTA) is a not-for-profit organisation that informs, supports and represents the interests of the Victorian TAFE sector, including Victoria’s 12 TAFE institutes, four dual sector universities and AMES Australia.
The VTA proudly champions the interests of public vocational education providers with a focus on sustainability, quality, and outcomes for industry, community and learners.
The VTA supports members through:
Policy and advocacy – we are the trusted voice of the VET sector in Victoria. We conduct research, and harness and develop the collective capacity of our network to develop policies. We use our voice for impact when representing members at all levels of government.
Collaboration – we facilitate collaboration between members, driving collaboration and best practice.
Victorian TAFE International (VTI) – we support members to grow their international business both onshore and offshore.
Events – we bring the VET sector together to discuss and debate challenging issues and opportunities for innovation and growth
Workplace relations – we represent members in enterprise agreements, and provide workforce relations advice
Governance – we provide resources to assist member Boards maintain good governance policies and procedures
Partnering with members and government – we partner for impact with members and government to deliver programs that strengthen members and benefit students
Services – we provide a range of services to support members.
