ABOUT

Established in 1981, NCVER is a not-for-profit company owned by the federal, state and territory ministers responsible for training. It is responsible for collecting, managing, analysing, evaluating and communicating research and statistics about VET.

In addition to its main web portal, NCVER is responsible for a number of activities and resources of direct relevance to VET practitioners engaging in and with research including: (i) an annual ‘No Frills’ conference; ; (ii) collection and reporting of national training statistics; (ii) the maintenance of the VOCEDplus database; and (iii) the NVETR research program (and its various outputs).

The portal provides corporate information, news and events, access to research publications online and other VET-related resources produced by NCVER, information about work in progress, and links to other VET-related websites.
