2020 Victorian Training Awards - Virtual Event Series

This year's gala event will be replaced by a ''Virtual Events Series’ which will be hosted on the Victorian Training Awards' Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter channels.  As part of the virtual format, a series of videos highlighting each of the finalists and their stories will be shared on these social media channels and other Victorian government channels from late October to mid-November.

Some winners will also have the opportunity to represent Victoria at the Australian Training Awards in November.

  • Darian Burgess - Swinburne University of Technology

 Koorie Student of the Year

  • Elva Smerotkins - SuniTAFE

Teacher/Trainer of the Year

  • Kevin Nunn - TAFE Gippsland
  • Marina McGrath - Bendigo Kangan Institute
  • Torin Coakley - Bendigo TAFE

 Industry Collaboration Award

  • Swinburne University of Technology

  • Federation TAFE

Inclusive Training Provider of the Year

  • Box Hill Institute

Large Training Provider of the Year

  • South West TAFE
  • Box Hill Institute

Category award winners will receive $5,000 in prize money and a 2020 Victorian Training Award trophy.
