The Victorian Public Sector Commission (VPSC) is developing a comprehensive suite of digital resources for new public sector board directors, with an anticipated launch date of end of the year.

The Department will refine the TAFE-specific training that may still be required in addition to these resources next year.

The following TAFE Board Director training modules will be reviewed as part of this and are currently unavailable:

• module 1: Good governance principles in TAFE
• module 4: The Role of the TAFE CEO as a Board Director
• module 5: The Role of the TAFE Chair

We ask that new board directors continue to complete relevant available modules and advise the Department as they are completed.

• module 3: Vocational Education and Training in Victoria
• module 6: Staff on TAFE Boards
